ITookThisOnMyPhone.com - Upload Your BlackBerry Photos

I Took This On My Phone really couldn't have come up with a more descriptive title for their service, rendering any sort of clarification pretty redundant. Regardless, it suffices to say that this mobile app automatically scans your BlackBerry for photo content and wirelessly uploads them to your page on the site. You'll be able to view your BlackBerry photos as full-sized images displayed on your I Took This On My Phone page, instead of small thumbnails. To use the application, you'll first need to install it on your BlackBerry by accessing the I Took This On My Phone website from your BlackBerry's browser. Then you can begin taking your photos, all of which will be automatically transferred to your homepage on the site, where you'll be able to view, download, and share you content.

  In their own words

"Free your photos from your phone. The easiest way to make your cellphone photos usable. Automatically upload photos from your BlackBerry as they are taken".

Why it might be a killer

Unlike a lot of other mobile apps that let you upload photo content from your mobile, I Took This On My Phone does the transferring for you automatically; convenient if you're assuming that you want every photo you take to be uploaded to your page on the site. The application also doesn't limit you to seeing miniscule thumbnails either; all photos are enlarged on the site.

  Some questions

This application only works for BlackBerrys, and only for those BlackBerrys which have been enabled for unlimited mobile data transfer. While it's less of a hassle than manually uploading photos, the automatic upload function might be irksome to any user that doesn't wish to have all of his or her photos uploaded. It might be better to allow users to select manually the photos they wish to upload, or designated a particular folder to store photos designated for uploading.
