Uploading and
downloading photos in order to
share them with your friends and acquaintances can be more or less trying on your patience depending on the actual number of files that are involved, and the hosting service in question. But I dare say that such a process is always a bit of a pain in the neck.
Time, then, for a more dynamic alternative. And that is exactly what Divvyshot stands for.
In general terms, it is an
iPhone app that will let those who have it installed share photos without having to upload or download a single file. The way the system works is quite ingenious, as all you have to do is place both iPhones side by side and give them a little shake in order for the data to be transferred. Easy, and quite neat.
The best thing about it all?
Flickr, Facebook and
Twitter are supported and images can be exported from these services right on the spot. And as if that wasn’t enough, the photos become hosted on the Divvyshot server so that these friends that don’t have an iPhone will still be able to access them.
