BurstSMS is a white label web application that facilitates the sending of bulk SMS campaigns. No software downloads are required to get started with BurstSMS as the service is completely hosted by them but the look and feel of the API can be customized by you. Choose your own subdomain, brand with your logo, pick any color scheme you like and set your own margin on how much to charge per message (BurstSMS charges you 10c per message). Once you’ve customized the page, upload contacts in CSV or VCARD format and start blasting out targeted SMS messages. All major carriers are supported and sending a bulk SMS campaign to thousands of people at the same time is as simple as opening your web browser.

This is an easy way to manage SMS campaigns while keeping your own branding look and feel and pricing is easy to understand and calculate. Being able to schedule future blasts is also a nice feature.

10c per sent SMS seems pretty expensive when one considers that they are offering a white label service that can be resold by other users. If it were resold, people could be paying upwards of 15 or 20 cents per message plus whatever their carrier charges them for receiving a text message. Have they considered lowering the cost per SMS to be a bit more competitive?
