Notwithstanding the recent figures which revealed that more ebooks than games are consumed by iPhone users, sites like Appsolutely are (and will always be) indispensable. In this particular case, the site will let you learn about the coolest games and apps in a setting that is quite visual, and that I frankly like for a change.





The main page displays the latest and featured apps, and each one is presented on a small iPhone. These iPhones often bear tags attached to them such as “free & cool”, giving you an even immediate representation of these apps that appear promising on first looks - you will know if that app that caught your eye is available for free right on the spot.

What’s more, you can always see which ones are the highest rated apps by glancing at the list which is provided on the right-hand side of the main page. That list only details the names of the apps. I think it would be a good idea to add some other information to make it all more convenient, such as a mini screenshot or similar. Let’s see if that is attended to in any future update.
