I have reviewed a couple of sites that listed and reviewed the most recent iPhone apps to hit the iTunes shelves. Now I am glad to do the very same thing for the Android – a first as I can remember.

Note that the site lists not only apps but also games that can be procured for Android phones. It could be said, then, that both leisure and serious users are duly catered for. And in any case, we all need to let our hair down every now and then, so even if you are a markedly serious user you will enjoy any of the classic games on offer.

You can carry out searches using the provided functionality, whereas categories like “Latest apps” will let you stay fully rounded on what is being released. When executing a search you can also specify that only free or paid apps be displayed.

The site is available in seven languages, too. That is always a good thing, and something that gives you an indication of the effort that has gone into creating it.

Android users are obviously going to relish having such a thorough (and constantly updated) database.
