Cellphones, my friends, are the next pc’s. Forget your laptop. Forget your desktop. Mac’s Air maybe cool with a catchy song, but the iPhone was the real innovation. Europe’s been texting away on their mobiles for ages. Take a look at any good, upstanding Swede’s thumbs. That’s not from hard labor. Google’s also got on the mobile bandwagon with Android, and hopefully good things are to come. In the mean time check out Tapioca Mobile. It’s another go-getter that’s gone mobile and it’s got an impressive $5 million in seed money for its efforts. It does what you’d expect a fancy mobile-oriented startup to do: provide rich, audio-visual content publishing opportunities for your phone. The platform will allow publishers to get on your phone and make money off it too. There’s more to come, but you’ll have to wait for further news.
