    Founded in 2002, this US based site is dedicated to generating target-specific e-marketing material for hotels, resort and related hospitality-industry providers, developing custom tools and resources that include but not restrict to complex database software, market analysis and development of mailing solutions that will effectively reach the audience its customers intend to communicate with. A particularly interesting feature about this site is that is displays the project it has undertook in the past in an easy-to-grasp problem-solution interface that will allow both market-audience, but also people form other industries to understand and relate to the issues raised by zmaildirect.com, and try to adapt their ingenious resources to their own crises and obstacles.

    "The Challenge

    Corporate URL was "blacklisted" by ISPs and organizations such as SPAMHAUS due to violations of the CAN-SPAM Act. The Company had purchased so called "Opt-in Lists" online, had harvested lists from questionable sources, and was using their own email servers to deploy to these mass email lists. As a result, thousands of formal, and informal, SPAM complaints were submitted to hundreds of ISPs, which caused significant blocking (blacklisting). The situation had deteriorated to the point where legitimate intra-company email was not being received.



    The Solution

    Utilizing ZDirect's full-time ISP relations team and consultants, a comprehensive audit and history of all email transactions was carried out. ZDirect was able to methodically rehabilitate the company's URLs, their subscriber list, significantly diminish blacklisting; enhance deliverability thereby increasing online revenue by implemented strategic strategies. Respectability and the image of the company was revived. Note: Most companies do not realize how easily they can become blacklisted, even rendering ineffective their website as a result of poor electronic marketing practices."
