ScanScout realizes the power of video advertising, given that a huge demographic is now spending significantly more time using the internet than they are watching tv. ScanScout provides media advertising that works like google adsense. They search the video content, and then input adds which match the context of the video. ScanScout has recently received Round One funding led by General Catalyst Partners at $7 million dollars. Though it was founded two years previously, ScanScout has just recently launched and aims it´s goals directly towards aiding media businessse monetize videos.
