Jellyfish.com - Tantalizing Tentacles: Shop and Earn Money All At Once

    jellyfish

A Jelly-fish is a gelatinous, squishy and often painful little sea creature, however the online incarnation of the creature is devilishly clever. If you´re a fan of online auction sites like E-bay, and even if you´re not so endeared, you will find Jellyfish quite a treat. It´s a search engine for shopping that searches for products across a vast range of stores which actually compensate Jellyfish for each purchase; Jellyfish in turns compensates you for purchasing, you´ll get at least half of every dollar that they earn when you shop. All you have to do is 1) search for, either by category or text, the item you wish to purchase, 2) shop, Jellyfish will show you a bottom line price which includes the true cost of the product once you get your cash back, 3) sign up and buy, all you need to register is an email address, 4) finally save with cash back. Jellyfish makes shopping a little more enticing and it´s easy too. Currently they´re offering another little gemâ€"the Refer A Friend program, where you can earn cash on all the purchases your friends make for a year; not bad at all is it?

    In their own words

“Jellyfish is a new kind of search engine. We call it the Internet´s first buying engine. Search engines are great for finding information, but we think you also need a search engine that is perfect for when you want to buy something online.

Why it might be a killer

Many people use eBay and they don´t get any cash back; here´s a site where you can shop for goods from trusted merchants and you get money for doing so. And like you they don´t like adverts, so there aren´t going to be big, floating signs for magazines or necklaces on the site. Jellyfish is novel, and their Robin-Hood approach is rather alluring.

    Some questions

Not all stores will share the booty, will this not only limit selection, but also price range? Will the Jellyfish idea prompt eBay users to migrate? eBay lets you name your own price, Jellyfish has established prices. How much money will you actually get back?
