ITLance.com - The Free IT Job Board

    itlance

Newcomer to the job board market ITLance provides a springboard for employers looking to hire both freelance and full time IT professionals. The site is organized into eight job categories: programmers, designers, adminstrators, testers, editors, marketers, managers, and consultants. Under each of these tabs are listed available jobs, which are further classified by most recent and most applied to. Next to each job is a color coded tag denoting the conditions of the employment; orange signifies freelance while, green signifies a full-time position, and purple denotes part-time. Next to each tag is the actual position, the location, and the date it was added to ITLance. No registration is required to apply to jobs on the site. You can upload your CV directly for each position along side your cover letter and other pertinent information. Submitting a position is similarly free and registration is not required. The site also has a search bar and RSS feeds.

    In their own words

"This is "Outsourcing Redefined". A Web 2.0 Project."

Why it might be a killer

ITLance has a clean cut, easily navigable design. It's minimalistic which makes it incredibly easy to use. Neither employer nor potential employee need to register or pay to use the site. The setup is such that it's extremely accessible for everyone.

    Some questions

How is this site going to draw in any revenue? Is it possible for applicants to upload their CV to more than one position at a time? How long are ads kept up? How is the site going to attract companies to post?
