Information overload is a subject of intense scrutiny of late. Even the companies which bring us the technology for email are taking time outs—literally, they’re encouraging their employees to close up their inboxes for timed intervals. That grade school strategy may give employees a minor repose, but it doesn’t do much to take care of unwanted messages such as spam and phishing scams which inevitably seem to make it to your inbox, one way or another. Elertz aims to change that. It gives users control over what messages and alerts they receive. Elertz filters out the spam while ensuring that legitimate email doesn’t get filed away in the spam pile. Moreover, companies employing Elertz can integrate widgets into their website so customers can opt in to updates. It’s completely voluntary—a consumer signs up to get alerts, and the brand/company is guaranteed delivery of their message. Elertz users Adobe Air for its widget-desktop alert system; no programming is required.

“Our mission is to make the Internet work for end users and legitimate businesses and to provide technology to thwart the spammers, scammers and phishers who do their best to corrupt the internet.
With elertz control is given back to the user. They decide what alerts they wish to receive and can unsubscribe at any time. The system is totally anonymous and the user will never receive an unsolicited message from elertz.”

This system of desktop widgets works for both consumers and companies in mutually beneficial ways. Consumers have control over what messages they do or do not receive as the alerts are completely voluntary; users can opt in or out whenever they choose. Companies are ensured that their message gets delivered and that customers actually read what they’re sent.

Will consumers actually opt in to get these alerts? How customizable are Elertz’s widgets? What’s the pricing look like?

| What’s the pricing look like?An annual subscription fee, and a small charge per number of end subscribers to your elertz, not per message! This means you can send as much targeted information as is needed without incurring more costs. The pricing structure is incredibly competitive when you compare against the cost of email marketing. | Thanks for the review!Just wanted to clear a couple of things up...elertz(TM) is a totally new broadcast channel, and does not filter out spam because it cannot not be spammed. It offers instant delivery with a 100% guaranteed delivery rate for targeted information. You can broadcast ANY web content to subscribers without fear of delay or being blocked.Unlike RSS is can be precisely targeted, for example someone looking to be notified of new properties, with a specific number of rooms, garden, location price range, eco rating would find the only option is email. This of course means the email could be blocked, delayed, and not as specific due to the amount of criteria. This is where elertz(TM) comes in to play, offering real time updates from the website to be sent to the users desktop in less the 30 seconds! The user is taken to the property matching their EXACT requirements. Oh, and if the users PC or Mac is off, the elert can be directed to a mobile/cell phone, meaning they will NEVER miss out on that information. It also offers the added advantage of being able to broadcast web 2.0 content to users desktops, unlike email.Coming Soon is elertz(TM) Search, offering a new way of searching for information. Rather than a standard search where it returns results based on keywords and promoted sites. elertz(TM) Search allows you to subscribe for exact information, and the matching results will be sent to your widget, all with total anonymity. This means finally a way to look for the ideal holiday in Greece without being shown other options like "Sorry no holidays in Greece, how about Turkey?". It's time for people to get the information that they want, not what companies think we want.Darrell.Will consumers actually opt in to get these alerts? YESelertz(TM) is already a success on many websites with more and more currently being implemented. People will download a small safe file, with no need for admin rights (thanks to AdobeAir) for precisely targeted, instant, information. The feedback from end users has been fantastic! How customizable are Elertz’s widgets?Fully brandable - colors | ||
