Adroll.com - Packaged Content For Advertisers

    adroll

Joining the multitude of online marketing solutions tools out there is Adroll, a site which aims to help create a symbiotic relationship between content publishers and advertisers in order to better take advantage of each other’s services. If you’re a publisher, you can get Adroll’s philosophy working for you by connecting with other similar themed sites to make your content more valuable and easier for advertisers to search for and invest in. Advertisers may choose to either invest in your site alone, or they can advertise in a variety of sites across your content network. If you’re an advertiser, Adroll can help you hunt down the perfect package of sites on which to buy space by letting you pick the ad communities which best suit your interests and needs. For example, let’s say there’s an Alternative Music community which incorporates 10 different sites. An advertiser can choose to invest in one, several, or all of the sites at once. To use Adroll, you’ll need to sign up and specify your connection to the project (if you’re an advertiser, press, publisher, etc). The service is completely free of charge for all parties involved.

    In their own words

“We let publishers "roll up" their ad space to form larger packages of inventory with other trusted sites. These "ad communities" contain audiences assembled by publishers themselves -- site by site, and space by space. Ad communities create new levels of targeting and control, making it possible for advertisers to quickly and easily find their desired audiences across many publishers.”

Why it might be a killer

Adroll is unique in that it helps streamline the advertising process and aggregates related published content in easy-to-browse groups. A huge bonus is that services for both advertisers and publishers are free, something rather unique to this genre of website.

    Some questions

Adroll could benefit from explaining its services in more technical terms. Naturally using casual jargon makes it easy to understand, but a serious investor might want to know more before partaking in the Adroll community.
