TechStars was founded by a handul of entrepreneurs from Colorado that are doing their part to make sure that the entrepreneurial spirit is kept alive and we in the Centennial State. If a company is looking for startup capital and TechStars believes that the company has potential, the company will fund up to $15,000 in the startup in exchange for just 5% of the initial equity, and TechStars will be alongside all the way giving advice and mentorship and connections, but due to the amount of time and care involved, TechStars can only offer this to 10 startups a year. Not only will these startups get mentorship from the TechStars, they will be able to sit in attendance of over 40 lectures about startups, law and business, from speaker from all over the country.

This company could make a killing if it chooses its startups wisely and molds them correctly, right off the bat this year they will own 5% of 10 different startups companies and their business model will have them doing this consistently every year.

There is quite a bit of investment and risk by the company, they will be spending a lot of time and man hours and $150,000 every year to get these startups going.
