It is a social networking system for businesses aimed at increasing the communication, collaboration, and connection that employees within an organization have with one another. To connect with other employees, users can make their contact information and skills available, quickly access other team members’ information, and identify resources for future collaboration. To increase communication, users can interface with other email systems, email directly from their user profiles, and import their address book contacts. To collaborate with other team members, users can find and identify new and current team members, create teams for different projects, and send team-wide messages.

Offiscion is built on the comprehensive idea that in order to succeed, organizations must keep communication open and collaboration strong. However, there is the question of whether or not this tool is capable of competing with some of the other communication, collaboration, and management tools. The website is basic in functionality and appearance, and does not stand out against some of the other advanced and integrated systems that currently are on the market.
