LearnHub, as the name suggests, is an online community for those interested in learning and teaching. The site is divided into a number of communities, representing different subjects and subcategories (for example, a general subject might be “Humanities and Social Sciences”, and the subcategory might be “Canadian History”), and members can join a specific group based on their desire to learn about the subject matter or to teach. Once a user is a member in a specific category, they can engage in debate, give or complete lessons and tests, and socialize with others in the community. While the site is free to use, teachers have the option of charging for specific lessons or tutoring.

Anyone can create a community- and many people on LearnHub already have. However, the challenge will be to have these individuals post content to attract other users- most communities have no lessons, tests, or other members.
