Formerly know as iSequent, First Coverage is a Canadian company from the founders of First Call and StreetEvents. This latest solution is an entirely web-based solution, with a primary focus on putting information into the hands of portfolio managers and brokers. The idea is that in this one portal, users can find the best information and people based on the criteria that they choose. Users are able to cut through useless information to find the data and people needed to make a difference. All “sell-side” information can be easily tracked and will never be overlooked while the organization of “sell-side” and corporate meetings can be streamlined. The solution also provides an avenue for independent research providers to reach a wider audience by demonstrating their strengths and being recognized by the “buy-side” of the equation for the quality of their work.
