Nowadays, it isn't enough to just get help to make the widget itself, now it is imperative to also have a strategy for promoting your widget. WidgetLabs.de offers to help with both. WidgetLabs.de is taking up the spot of working with getting the application distributed through Facebook. The German company has been financed by iSteps Ventures and is looking to help out people with good ideas for widgets that may not have the know how and/or connections to really get their widgets out there. The site has a blog that you can get good advice from and also see the happenings with the company and successes that they are having with their widgets.
