Intwition is a service that tracks what Twitter users are linking to and talking about when they tweet. The site allows you to enter any domain, and will generate a report on which pages in that domain have been linked to, how many times, and by whom. It works by scanning Twitter’s public feed for any links contained in posts. If it finds shortened URLs (such as a tinyURL), it resolves those to include them in the results for the actual domain linked to. You can get your results for the entire domain or for a specific page within it. The RSS feature allows you to track tweets linking to your page up to the minute, though you can also see results daily or for a specified time period. Intwition will calculate the “reach” for your page, which is the total number of people a link had the potential to reach. The reach is calculated by adding the total number of followers of each person who posted a link to your site.
