Gary R. Hess, the author of impNERD, is a self-proclaimed nerd. But what sets him apart from the thousands of nerds in the blogosphere is his decidedly un-nerdy approach to explaining topics relating to technology. His site specifically deals with internet, marketing and publishing (hence the “imp”) and he strives to describe the topics and trends in these areas that are flittering around the web in simple, layman’s terms. impNERD was previously a subdomain of Hess’s other site, and he has since launched impNERD as an independent entity that thoughtfully and thoroughly teaches his readers about a given topic.
