The 2008 elections are getting closer and the number of political blogs starts increasing. Most of them are from liberal people that talk about the Clinton – Obama rivalry in the Democrat Party and criticize Bush’s administration and every decision the president makes. Conservative blogs may be scarce but some of them like HotAir.com make up for the missing blogs. This blog does the usual trashing of liberal people but with a touch of humor. Founded by a renowned FOXNEWS journalist, it broadcasts videos that show everything from an angry democratic senator criticizing the Iraq war that the bloggers portray as an “incoherent buffoon” to a video where you can see a young man producing a geyser while mixing a beer with Mentos. It also provides you with the latest political headlines and blog posts about Hillary Clinton’s plunging neckline and how Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela and Jimmy Carter have joined forces to try to save the world.

“The world’s first full-service conservative Internet broadcast network. I formed Hot Air Network, LLC, to bring ideological diversity—because we all love diversity–to the videoblogging world. And because it looked like a lot of fun. Two of the most cutting-edge bloggers on the Right have joined me in my cyberquest: video editing whiz Bryan Preston and the almighty Allah Pundit.”

It is a fun way to read what the conservatives think of liberals and watch videos that wouldn’t have become news, had they not posted it and criticized it.

Will people visit a conservative site that trashes everything that is liberal, from Hollywood celebrities to politicians to the blog reader himself?
