With Terrell Owens being completely out of control in San Francisco and Philadelphia, the whole steroid controversy, and now with Michael Vick being accused of fighting dogs, it can be argued that sports off the field is becoming much more interesting than on the field. DirtLocker operates just like a normal Fantasy league except instead of getting points when your players get points on the field you get points when your players get publicity, good or bad, it doesn't matter. The site is free to sign up with and it has a great deal of information about the off field drama going on between the players and the reporters, etc. We all know how popular the regualr fantasy leagues have become and this could be a great alternative or additive to those leagues.

This can be a runaway success, there is already giant market for people playing fantasy sports so it is not a big jump at all for someone to switch for playing fantasy sports to fantasy dirt. Americans are obsessed with stars and the publicity they get so this seems like a great blend of the two.

How is the site monetized? There are no ads on the site and it is free to join. This could prove to be very popular in the near future, hopefully the site will put up some ads or figure out a way to charge.
[DL Edit] There are some ads on the site as well as offering VIP (for pay) leagues which feature longer season lengths, more teams per league, and prizing.
