Ajaxonomy.com - Collection of Ajax and Web Related News

    ajaxonomy

Ajaxonomy is a blog created for the discussion and review of all things Ajax and other interesting developments in web technology. What you’ll find is an array of topics ranging from coding, e.g. Json and Javascript load objects, to new price comparison engines, and Google’s proposed new idea of a social network based on your e-mail, meant to rival Myspace and Facebook. The site has a good selection of interesting new apps and commentary. Categories are tucked on the right hand side below the search bar; they include Ruby, dotNet, Fun Suff, Google, Web 2.0 and Libraries, among others. There’s an RSS feed for entries and there’s a separate feed for comments.

    In their own words

“This blog was created by professional web developers in an attempt to build a community for sharing and discussing topics related to AJAX and other interesting web technologies.

We look forward to your feedback and hope you would contact us with requests for any specific topics not already on the site.”

Why it might be a killer

Ajaxonomy provides a good round up of new web technologies and Ajax development. The entries and articles are clear and pretty easy to understand. These people know what they’re talking about and provide interesting perspective. Layout and design are easy on the eyes, and it’s well organized.

    Some questions

How is this site going to make a profit? Will users be able to contribute? With so many other blogs about the web, how is this one going gain traction?
