Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bethany is a Christian adoption agency and child wellbeing charity project. They aim to put together pregnant women who want to give their unborn child to adoption with parents who want to give a family to that child.
Bethany supports both domestic and international adoption programs, and at the site users will be able to explore the database of couples’ profiles who would like to adopt a kid who hasn’t born yet. Unlike similar services, Bethany allow users to post their profiles for free, and these generally include a letter to the birthmother where prospective parents speak about their ethic, moral and politic values and views, present pictures of their home, neighborhood and themselves, and in general any other information that can help birthmothers know and choose them to raise her child. Browsing the profiles is open to any person, as you don’t need to register to the site to do it. You can also read about children (no pictures are available) who are waiting to be adopted in other parts of the world, and start the paperwork to bring them into your family.
